Delete your data

Open Coryo, go to Me, open Account, and choose Delete account. A successful request is synchronous. There is no grace period or background deletion queue.

For Google sign-in, Coryo first deletes the Firebase-managed identity used by this app. A managed-identity failure leaves the Coryo server account in place and returns a retryable error. An identity already absent is treated as successfully removed.

After managed identity cleanup, the server deletes the Coryo account in one database transaction. Its profile, provider links, class records, teacher and studio follows, sync snapshots, tombstones, retry receipts, friend requests, friendships and blocks are deleted with it. Its username and discovery choice, direct conversations and messages, read markers, realtime preferences and installations, and authored studio memories follow the same cascade.

Before the request, choose Keep this phone's record or Erase this phone too. The choice is journaled locally, so a lost response or interrupted file operation can be retried after relaunch.

Keep waits for the account runtime to close, then rekeys its class record, follows, local profile and diary data, Growth Plans, and plan clips to a fresh private guest profile. Erase waits for that same teardown, then removes the closed account scope and its local media. The app does not show completion until the selected local operation succeeds.

Booking website data is separate from your Coryo server account. Studio website cookies, site sign-ins, and other page data live in Coryo's own WebKit store on this device.

Use Me, Storage, Clear booking website data to remove all of it. The same clearing operation also runs before sign-out, account switching, guest import, and account deletion activates another personal scope.

Deleting Coryo does not delete your Google Account, Apple Account, or any studio or booking-provider account. It removes the Firebase-managed identity created for this app's Google sign-in, not the Google Account behind it.

Sign in with Apple is not available in the current build. If it becomes available, deleting Coryo will remove our provider link and server account, not the Apple Account itself. Provider-specific authorization controls remain with that provider.

Email [email protected] from the account address and describe the request. We may ask you to prove control of that address or another account identifier. Email handling is a reviewed request, not an instant self-service endpoint, so we confirm the outcome after verification and processing.

Safety reports are the exception to the social account cascade. A report keeps opaque identifiers and the minimum account, message, or memory snapshot needed for moderation for 24 months from submission. Deleting the reporter, the reported account, or the reported content clears live links but does not erase that evidence early. No legal hold is implemented in this release. Realtime replay events expire after 7 days and one-use connection tickets after no more than 60 seconds. Account deletion does not wait for that clock: every replay event the account could read or was the other party to is deleted with the account, so a former friend cannot replay its messages.

A server account deletion does not identify every network receipt by account. Expired or used sign-in-code rows become eligible for removal within 24 hours after expiry or use. Rate-limit receipts are eligible after 48 hours. Account-sync retry receipts normally remain for 180 days, but account deletion removes receipts linked to that account immediately.

Waitlist entries and optional event-submission contact addresses are separate from an app account. Ask us to remove a waitlist address. Event-submission contacts become eligible for removal 30 days after a final review decision or 90 days after submission, whichever comes first. Every current final review path records that decision time.

A signed-in studio, teacher, or event request carries an account association while the account exists. Account deletion removes that association and leaves the private catalog lead for review. A request sent while signed out has no account association. Email [email protected] with the request id if you want the request itself removed.

Feature requests require a signed-in account. Deleting the account deletes its feature requests and their review state.

Organizer-created events follow the same account-association rule. A cover upload token expires after 15 minutes, unfinished private uploads are abandoned after a 24-hour grace period, and verified private covers remain for no more than 90 days while awaiting review. Rejected private cover bytes are deleted or quarantined for deletion retry.

The application does not enforce or verify a duration for cloud runtime logs or database backups. We do not promise an invented duration. Their provider and operator settings remain a release review item.

Studios, teachers, schedules, public professional facts, event facts, source evidence, and review decisions do not belong to a dancer account, so deleting an account does not delete them. A teacher, studio, or organizer can request a correction or takedown separately at [email protected].

A flyer or organizer-cover takedown stops the artwork from being served while leaving factual event information in the catalog. That distinction lets us remove creative material without pretending a public date or venue was private account data.

There is no Coryo account to delete. Your active personal scope, Growth Plans, plan clips, profile media, diary photos, recommendation tuning, attendance details, and booking website data remain local to the app. Remove them with their local controls or remove the app.

A waitlist address or event-submission contact can still exist without an app account. Email [email protected] to request removal.
