Yoko

Yoko was born and raised in Tokyo, Japan. She began learning classical ballet at the age of six and is classically trained in a variety of dance styles. She found pole dance at Studio Polish, in Tokyo, in 2009, and has been instructing pole since 2010. She moved to San Francisco, California in 2016 and has been working with Flux Vertical Theatre dance company since 2017. Yoko has many pole champion titles worldwide and is thrilled to be sharing her vast knowledge with FVT academy students!
