Nadav Gal

Nadav Gal is an Israeli dance professional with an international career in contemporary dance as a performer, rehearsal director, assistant choreographer, and producer. A graduate of the Jerusalem Academy High School for Music and Dance, he danced and toured internationally for five seasons with Kibbutz Contemporary Dance Company. Nadav has collaborated extensively with choreographer Martin Harriague, serving as répétiteur and assistant choreographer for works staged at major institutions including Scapino Ballet Rotterdam, Leipzig Ballet, and Opéra d’Avignon. He has also held leadership roles within KCDC, including Artistic Director of the Pre-Professional Dance Journey and manager of KCDC 2. Now based in Los Angeles, Nadav teaches at the Orange County School of the Arts and leads movement research workshops, bringing a holistic and forward-thinking approach to dance education. Teaching Philosophy Nadav’s teaching emphasizes curiosity, clarity, and artistic responsibility. He encourages dancers to develop strong physical awareness, intelligent movement choices, and a deep understanding of process—not just steps. Drawing from his experience in performance, rehearsal direction, and production, he guides students to think like complete artists, fostering discipline, adaptability, and creative confidence both in the studio and on stage.
