Teacher

Marley Oberg

Born and raised in San Diego, Marley Oberg began dancing at just four years old and has continued to develop her craft through training at four different studios, most recently at Center Stage School of Dance. Her foundation includes training in tap, jazz, hip hop, and contemporary, with a stronger recent focus on hip hop performance and choreography through her work with the Granite Hills High School Dance Team. For the past three years, she has been a member of the school’s advanced dance team, where she has choreographed multiple pieces performed in both recreational showcases and competitive settings. Her experience as a competitive dancer began in sixth grade and has since taken her to numerous competitions, allowing her to grow not only as a performer, but also as a creative and collaborative artist. Alongside performing, she has developed a passion for teaching and mentorship. She has taught within her school’s dance program for the past three years and has also stepped in as a substitute instructor for classes at her studio. Through both choreography and instruction, she aims to create an encouraging environment where dancers can build confidence, artistry, and connection through movement. She continues to pursue dance as both a creative outlet and a way to grow alongside her peers, bringing energy, leadership, and dedication into every space she enters.
