Lisa

Lisa aka LeeLee made her dance debut with kicks in the womb while her mother watched “Dirty Dancing” in the movie theaters. With a youth immersed in the discipline and grace of the "Evergreen City Ballet", in Washington state, Lisa trained in technical forms of ballet, jazz, and modern. At age 16, the liveliness of the Seattle Hip-Hop scene drew her in, and inspired her to move to Los Angeles to pursue a career in the commercial dance industry. Dance adventures ranged from training in New York City at the Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater, dancing as the futuristic leading lady in Steve Aoki and Waka Flocka’s music video, "Rage the Night Away, touring with Jay Chou, and creating "Soul of Cali" in 2014, a place for youth to create, and discover personal expression from the inside out. Over the last several years Lisa has dedicated herself to teaching hip hop and jazz funk to all ages and levels. She is known for her musicality, style and execution, playful child like spirit, and passion for creating a safe space for students to learn, express, and VIBE, as they push themselves to grow one class at a time.
