Kaitlyn Brock is a dancer, actor, singer, and choreographer originally from Kentucky. Kaitlyn fell in love with dancing at a very young age and learned all styles including acrobatics, jazz funk, classic jazz, lyrical, contemporary, ballet, modern, hip hop, tap, and pom. After high school, Kaitlyn joined the UDA (United Dance Association) staff to teach her love of dance to high school dance teams. During her first summer teaching at UDA, Kaitlyn moved to New York to attend The Institute for American Musical Theatre for three years. She studied all types of dance, acting, and singing with industry professionals. Along with school she also attended classes at Steps and Broadway Dance Center. Kaitlyn started auditioning shortly after moving to NY and soon booked her first professional job right before graduating IAMT. She has since completed three national tours and worked as a performer and dance captain for each of them. Between school, UDA, and auditioning Kaitlyn was able to come back to KY every now and then and teach at her hometown studio. Kaitlyn received her first professional (assistant) choreography credit in After Pinocchio, a workshop in NY where she also had the title of performer and dance captain. Kaitlyn moved to San Diego at the end of 2025 with her husband and her two sweet cats! Her number one motto is “find joy in the journey” and joy is what she aspires to bring into every class! She is so excited to continue dancing and start teaching at Play Studios!
