Johnathon Darcelle Hart (JD) is a Chicago-born dancer and performer with a rich and varied career in concert dance, commercial performance, and live production. Known for his powerful stage presence, technical precision, and artistic versatility, JD has worked with leading companies, artists, and brands across the United States. JD’s professional credits include performing with BalletMet, and appearing in productions with Odyssey Dance Theatre and BodyTraffic, showcasing his strength in contemporary and repertory work. He has also brought his dynamic performance skills to theatrical productions such as The SugarHill Nutcracker, Brooklyn Ballet Nutcracker, Los Angeles Grand Ballet and Debbie Allen’s Hot Chocolate Nutcracker. His commercial and media experience spans collaborations with globally recognized artists and entertainment platforms, including Lil Kim, Anita Baker, Tyler Perry, Ashanti, and Jamie Foxx. JD’s versatility has further led to work in high-profile non-traditional dance contexts, such as campaigns or appearances involving Motown, Anthropologie, Hermès Fashion, and the Squid Games phenomenon.
