Izy Mathis

Jared “Izy” Mathis is a choreographer, educator, and creative director whose dance journey spans nearly two decades of training and artistic exploration. Beginning in jazz, hip hop, contemporary, and musical theatre, Izy developed a choreographic voice rooted in storytelling, musicality, and emotional clarity. His work has appeared at Choreographer’s Carnival LA, youth showcases, community productions, and full‑scale musicals including Annie, Chicago (HS Edition), Frozen Jr., and CATS. As Artistic Director for CYD Kids and founder of Artistic Mastery Collective, Izy is dedicated to shaping supportive, imaginative spaces where dancers of all ages can grow in technique, confidence, and creative expression. His mission is simple: to inspire artistry, build community, and help dancers discover the joy and mastery of movement.
