Isabel Castillo

Born and raised in Florida, Isabel has been training in Hip Hop for over 15 years. From dance crews in Florida to Phunk Phenomenon in Boston, she has performed and competed across the East Coast. Over the past five years, Isabel has expanded her training into Heels and Jazz Funk, blending her foundation in Hip Hop with evolving commercial styles, movement quality, and performance. Isabel has performed at iconic venues including Hard Rock, and House of Blues, and has danced throughout San Diego at concerts, festivals, and clubs. She was also once a member of our very own Play Hard Dance Team, and is currently a member of Brickhouse Dance Productions. Most recently, she performed for San Diego Magazine’s Best of San Diego. Join Isabel biweekly at Play Studios for an Int/Adv Jazz Funk class where traditional Jazz technique meets Hip Hop, commercial movement, a little sensuality, and a damn good time.
