Heidi Winner-Odom

Heidi is a proud Santa Cruz local and passionate belly dance advocate. With over 20 years of study, Heidi trained exclusively with Sese Geddes and has become a prominent figure in the local dance scene. She has led the Santa Cruz Shimmy Mob for 12 years, taught teens and had her choreographies featured by the global Shimmy Mob team. She has performed with many troupes including Bellydance Basics, Intisar, Tiyanna, Desert Jewels, The 5-mile Minx and her own group, Malaya. Her mission is to create a welcoming, joyful space where everyone can explore and express themselves through dance.
