Latin Dance Specialist & Zumba Instructor Born and raised in Queens, New York, Dennis Guzman grew up immersed in the vibrant rhythms of Latin music, thanks to his Colombian heritage. His passion for dance took root at an early age, leading him to pursue a minor in Dance at the University of Tampa, Florida. Upon returning to New York, Dennis refined his artistry with Ballet Mestizo, a renowned Colombian Folklore Dance Company, where he mastered his country’s rich traditional dance styles—including, but not limited to, Salsa. His deep connection to Latin rhythms naturally led him to Zumba, where he found a perfect fusion of dance, fitness, and cultural expression. For over 12 years, Dennis has been inspiring students with his high-energy, dynamic, and passionate teaching style. His classes are more than just workouts—they are celebrations of movement, culture, and joy.
