Adrienne Parker Foley, a San Francisco-based native Californian, trained at the San Francisco School of Ballet and earned a BA in Communications from Northwestern University after studying Theater, Film, and Television at UCLA. A member of SAG/AFTRA and Actor’s Equity, she has an extensive career in concert and commercial dance, performing with Boston Ballet Ensemble and Hubbard Street Dance Chicago (1990–1994). Adrienne has worked with acclaimed choreographers including Ohad Naharin, Twyla Tharp, and Gwen Verdon. With five decades of experience across classical, contemporary, modern, and jazz forms, she has taught at institutions such as HSDC, ODC, StepsNY, and Alonzo King LINES, and served as a guest lecturer at UCLA, Northwestern, and San Francisco State University. Adrienne actively produces and supports Bay Area performing arts events and holds board positions with Smuin Ballet and the San Francisco Gay Men’s Chorus. She also advises SFDanceworks, Garrett + Moulton Productions, and Ballet22.
