This class explores House dance as a social, community-rooted form grounded in Black and Latinx club and social dance lineages. Dancers explore groove, footwork, and musicality through jacking, freestyle principles, and rhythmic exchange. Partner work is introduced as an extension of social dance traditions, focusing on presence, moving together, and improv rather than set choreography. Open to all levels!
