Urban Kiz is a modern evolution of Kizomba—characterized by smooth movements, clear structure, and deep musical connection. This class will give you the essential tools to start dancing confidently with a partner, even if you’ve never danced before. • BASIC STEPS & TIMING: Learn foundational movements and stay in sync with Urban Kiz music. • FRAME & CONNECTION: Build strong partner connection through posture, tension, and communication. • LEAD & FOLLOW FUNDAMENTALS: Understand how to guide or respond with smooth, controlled movements. • INTRO TO MUSICALITY: Begin interpreting music with intention and clarity. • TECHNIQUE & FLOW: Practice smooth transitions, weight changes, and direction changes. • SUPPORTIVE ATMOSPHERE: Learn in a welcoming space with personalized attention. PREREQUISITES No prerequisites required — this class is open to everyone, even if you’ve never danced before. Absolute beginners are welcome!
