Beginner Contemporary Basics

About this class

Beginning Contemporary Basics is a class filled with a variety of lyrically challenging music and varying contemporary and jazz technique. Each class contains a 20-minute warm up and about 40-minutes of learning a combination. Combinations are new every two weeks and focus on breaking down both standing and floor work commonly found in contemporary pieces. Long pants and/or knee pads preferred for extra protection; any dance shoes or socks welcomed.
