About this class

On-going class: Dancehall (All Levels) with Aimee Rose Dancehall is a style of dance from the parties of Jamaica. In this class you will learn body basics, technique, and the signature codified steps used in Dancehall. You will also learn about the history of the dance, it’s current evolution, the culture around Dancehall and its steps, and the people behind the dance. Aimee Rose was born and raised in San Francisco and has a deep passion for dance. Her journey into Dancehall began in 2013 and since then she has opened shows for well known dancehall and reggae artist, choreographed for music videos, hosted workshops with top Jamaican and international Dancehall Dancers, traveled extensively teaching, and hosts a bi-annual Dancehall trip to Jamaica. Aimee teaches on-going weekly classes around the San Francisco Bay Area.
