About this class

This class is an Alvin Alley influenced style, with a fusion of Horton, Graham, Limon, Afro, Gospel, Blues, and Ballet. The class will focus on technique, musicality, strength and style. We will also focus on expression (emotional and spiritual). We will work on choreography that builds from week to week, 3-5 minutes pieces, using contemporary music. The first three warm-ups are set and they provide movements that work on the style and technique. The adagio and across the floor change often. The class will be a challenge, but also of fun and fulfillment of your physical, emotional, and spiritual well-being.
