About this class

Build on a solid foundation and take your training further. This Intermediate/Advanced Ballet class is for dancers who are comfortable with standard ballet vocabulary and ready to explore more complex combinations, musicality, coordination, strength, and artistry. Class moves at a moderate-to-brisk pace and may incorporate more advanced material depending on who is in the room. Expect longer, more complex combinations, increased center work, turns, jumps, and plenty of opportunities to refine placement, technique, stamina, and performance quality. The focus is always on progress—not perfection. Come ready to challenge yourself, enjoy the process, and keep building on what you already know. Class and pace are catered to who shows up, creating room for dancers with a range of experience within the intermediate-to-advanced spectrum. A little ballet class culture goes a long way, too. If you're newer to the level or still building strength and confidence, start toward the back and let more experienced dancers lead the way. As you become more comfortable with the pace and combinations, you'll naturally begin moving forward and joining earlier groups. It's part of the rhythm of ballet class—and helps everyone feel comfortable, supported, and able to move safely. Dress code: Athleisure or ballet attire and flat, canvas ballet shoes. Pointe work is not permitted unless you are a working professional.
