About this class

Ease into your Sunday with this slow and sultry beginner-friendly pole choreography class. Sleepy Sunday Slink is a slow, sultry, and deeply intentional pole choreography class. Under soft studio lighting and a cozy atmosphere, this session strips away the rush of the week to focus entirely on fluid movement, musicality, and connection—to the pole, to the floor, and to yourself. You will explore sensual base-of-the-pole transitions, grounded floorwork, and effortless spins that melt together into a seamless, slinky routine. No prior dance or pole experience is necessary. This class is designed as an open, welcoming space for movers of all stages who want to relax, slow down, and express their body’s natural rhythm at a gentle Sunday pace. What to Wear & Bring: Water: Absolutely! Pole Heels: Yes! But not required. Bare feet or socks are welcome. Clothing: Anything you feel great dancing in. Knee Pads: Highly recommended! Your knees will thank you. Grip Aid: If you need it, bring it! No Lotions: Please do not apply body lotion or oils on the day of class, as it makes the poles dangerously slippery. Yoga Mat: Recommended for your comfort during the warm up. Please note: To ensure community and optimal rest time, classes at The Vertitude use a shared-apparatus format with up to two students assigned per pole, working in alternating groups.
