Adult Ballet – Pre-Intermediate Our Pre-Intermediate Adult Ballet class is designed for dancers who have completed a beginner ballet program or have some previous ballet experience and are ready to advance their technical training. This class bridges the gap between beginner and intermediate levels by reinforcing proper ballet fundamentals while introducing more complex combinations and increased technical challenges. Students will continue to build strength, flexibility, coordination, balance, musicality, and confidence through a structured class consisting of barre, center work, adagio, turns, jumps, and across-the-floor combinations. Instruction emphasizes correct alignment, placement, turnout, port de bras, and movement quality while helping dancers develop greater control, precision, and artistry. Individual corrections are provided to ensure steady progress in a positive and encouraging learning environment. Class Focus Classical ballet technique Ballet terminology and proper execution Barre and center work Adagio and port de bras Introduction to pirouettes and more advanced turning combinations Petit allegro and introductory grand allegro Balance, flexibility, strength, and coordination Musicality and artistic expression Recommended For: Adult dancers who have completed a Beginner Ballet class or have equivalent experience and are ready to progress to a more challenging level. Upon successful completion of this class, students may advance to the Intermediate Adult Ballet program.
