THIS CLASS IS HELD AT THE DESERT DREAM! 1515 Soquel Ave, Santa Cruz CA Saturday morning ballet class is a welcoming, community-centered learning space for dancers of all levels. Moving at a gentle but enlivening pace, we will breathe through barre work, center choreography, traveling waltz phrases and jumps. We will approach ballet technique through a somatic lens that emphasizes embodiment, curiosity, ease, whole-body connectivity and personal expressivity. We will joyfully challenge ourselves and support one another as we develop our strength and grace and deepen our embodied awareness. You are invited to wear any comfortable clothing and socks or ballet slippers.
