About this class

Each of Janice Garrett’s classes is designed to develop a well-rounded palate of technical skills as well as encourage individual artistic expression. Her movement style and choreography highlight speed, unexpected directional change and a strong sense of weight as well as humor and gesture. Special attention is given to sound principles of alignment, facilitating technical versatility, strength and virtuosity. Students should wear form-fitting, comfortable dancewear such as tank tops, leggings, yoga pants, leotards, etc. Class is danced barefoot.
