Beginning Theatre Tap Combos (IN PERSON)

About this class

Beginning Theatre Tap Combo Class is geared toward beginning tap dancers who have learned basic tap vocabulary and want to build upon the fundamental tap skills taught in the workshop. Dancers will practice essential tap steps in a variety of rhythmic patterns, including timesteps, riff walks, turns, cramp rolls and many more. Class starts with recurring warm ups that highlight technique and coordination, followed by rhythmic patterns and fundamental tap vocabulary practiced in repetition. Dancers then learn a bi-monthly choreographed routine that explores more intricate movement and musicality in the style of classic Broadway.
