About this class

Get ready to serve plenty of clacks, sass, and ass! Flow’ography is a choreography class designed for high-beginner to intermediate dancers who already have a solid foundation in movement and basic static tricks. Polescilla's signature style leans heavily into timeless, old-school pole and stripper-inspired flow, infused with a touch of sharp Russian exotic flair. Each routine perfectly blends juicy, slow-and-sexy sequences with powerful, playful elements like drops, slides, pivots, and high kicks. We will break down the technicality behind heavy heel clacks and seamless floorwork, running each piece of choreography for 2+ weeks so you have plenty of time to polish, stylize, and film your growth. Prerequisites: Students must be comfortable with a pirouette, plié, dip/around the world, basic static spins, and have some experience with shoulder rolls. Please note: To ensure community and optimal rest time, classes at The Vertitude use a shared-apparatus format with up to two students assigned per pole, working in alternating groups. What to Wear & Bring Pole Heels: Recommended! (but not required) Clothing: Anything you feel great dancing in. Knee Pads: Necessary! We will be doing hard-hitting floorwork, and your knees will thank you. Grip Aid: If you need it, bring it! No Lotions: Please do not apply body lotion or oils on the day of class, as it makes the poles dangerously slippery.
